Helengeli Resort is located in the North Male Atoll with a speed boat transfer time of 80 minutes or a sea plane transfer can be a very short 18 minutes flight.

Accommodation

There are 25 air-conditioned double-bungalows with total 50 rooms. With open-air bathrooms in Maldivian style, where you can shower in your own private garden. Outside seating facilities allow for relaxed and unobstructed views over the ocean.

One Deluxe Bungalow is available for those needing extra space with a separate mezzanine level. This bungalow is situated at the very tip of the island, offering privacy and unforgettable sunsets.

Dining

Continental as well as oriental dishes are served in the restaurant, with home made oven fresh bread and tropical fruits from the varied breakfast buffet. Lunch and dinner are served as buffets and Occasional beach BBQ’s or private beach dinners round off the wide choice of dining events.

Enjoy an exotic cocktail at the poolside or on the wooden deck next to the bar during sunset, the ideal time to spot playful dolphins.

Trips to inhabited local islands and deserted islands give you the unique opportunity to discover more of the Maldives and their way of life. A special excursion is the dolphin search, as many dolphins call the waters around Helengeli their home.

Diving

Due to Helengeli's location on the outer reef some of the best dive sites, such as the Helengeli Thila, are also found here.

The dive school is run by Ocean Pro and are equipped with the best modern equipment. Experienced, multilingual European diving instructors teach PADI courses up to internationally accepted diving certificates of different levels. Twice a day diving excursions will visit some of the 36 dive sites.
