Asdu Sun Island

Asdu Sun Island is located in the North Male atoll 36km from the capital, it has just 30 bungalows in blocks of 2 or 3 all of which have no glass in their windows to compensate for the lack of air conditioning, also there is no hot water, so if you like back to basics which can be quite nice then this island could be for you. The rooms have a ceiling fan, shower and telephone
The restaurant serves lunch at the table and dinner is buffet style, with a good choice of food and plenty of fresh fish,

This island is run by a Maldivian family and as such this resort is like one of the old style Maldivian islands with an informal atmosphere but the price is good and the reef almost surrounds the island and is famous in the Maldives for great diving.
