Adaaran Meedhupparu

The resort of Adaaran Meedhupparu is 150 km from Male, it is located in the Raa atoll and is the only resort island in this area.


There are a total of 235 rooms 214 standard 1 suite and 20 water villas.
The standard rooms are where we always stay and are really nice, with air conditioning, 2 showers [one outside], hair drier, safe deposit box, king size bed, mini bar, telephone, tea and coffee etc, they are well built and have a lovely outside decked area.


The Adaaran Select water villas are a fairly new addition to this island and are very luxurious, they have over 80 square metres of floor space and include a home theatre system with dvd collection, and an expresso machine as well as all mod cons listed in the standard rooms, all of this is topped off with Russian oak floors and paneling.


The main restaurant has buffet-style breakfast, lunch, and dinner and is of a very high standard. There is also a fine dining restaurant which is air conditioned and has a great menu.


The resort facilities consist of internet room, tv room, boutique, spa, sauna, gift shops, jewellers, laundry service, beach towels and a resident doctor.
A water sports area for wind surfing, canoe hire and water skiing and a pool area with a swim up bar.



A well equipped dive school offering a great number of dive sites as well as full day trips along with the many Padi courses and specialities.
